ABOUT
I've been working in various paint and bodyshops for nearly 40 years, since leaving school in 1984. I'm based conveniently in the Midlands and have many exceptional contacts I can draw on to offer you a complete, professional and top-quality, experienced service at a reasonable price.
Prestige vehicles
For many years, I worked on prestige vehicles in various dealerships, such as BMW, Jaguar, and Land Rover - exceeding the high standard set by the manufacturers.

I also worked directly for Jaguar Land Rover, in one of their many paintshops, working on motor show reveal and press vehicles.
​
The first-class training and experience i gained working with these premium brands has proved invaluable for my work on my passion - motorcycles.
My time at Triumph
In the early 1990s I worked in the paintshop at Triumph Motorcycles, Hinckley. It was here I was taught how to coachline petrol tanks.

I worked with Gary Devine (ex-Meriden Triumph) and Norman Wall (who subcontracted to Triumph at the time).
​
I was put alongside Norman Wall to be instructed in traditional coachlining tecniques.
Alan Fox Paintwork
In 2019, I decided to set up my own business offering paintwork and coachlining services.
This has allowed me to indulge further in my passion for motorcycles and use my experience and skills to help motorcycle owners.
